TecWeb® hot-melt adhesive webs are used to bond combinations of polymers (plastics, metals, or ceramics), fiber-reinforced composites (CFRP, GFRP, AFRP), or layered wood composites. Their custom composition, unique properties, and chemical compatibility with resins make adhesive webs the ideal material for adhesive bonding, stabilization, and resin injection processes in composite materials. Due to their breathability and moisture permeability, adhesive webs are particularly suitable for flexible filtration materials, e.g., made of synthetic fibers, membranes, or foams.

Why Klebe-Web Stands Out

Advantages over alternative adhesive systems

strip
Compared to liquid adhesives or powder systems, adhesive-backed fabric offers clear advantages in mass production and in materials manufactured in small-scale production facilities. The dry application from the roll and the precise adhesive distribution enable controlled, rapid processes while maintaining consistently high quality. Leftover rolls can be stored for extended periods and reused without any issues.

The items require approximately 48 hours to reach their final peel strength after lamination. Washing tests and cleaning should therefore be performed after 48 hours. The fabric may exhibit weld lines, cloudiness, or streaking, which are inherent to the manufacturing process. Weld lines are marked.
