AB-Tec is a specialized manufacturer of thermoplastic, heat-activated adhesive webs. Since our founding in 2001, we have been developing and producing dry adhesive solutions in roll form for industrial applications. Our focus is not on standard products, but on custom-designed adhesive webs that are precisely tailored to each specific application.
With an annual production of over 100 million square meters of adhesive-backed fabric, we are one of the leading manufacturers in Europe. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries—anywhere materials need to be joined reliably, cleanly, and consistently.
Solution-oriented from concept to production
Our approach is consistently solution-oriented. We always start with our customers’ specific applications. Together, we analyze materials, processes, and requirements, and use this information to develop the right adhesive solution. In doing so, we work closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance.
The development process includes design, prototyping, optimization, and approval. The goal is to create an adhesive-web solution that not only works technically but can also be seamlessly integrated into existing production processes and is suitable for long-term mass production.
Consistent quality from German manufacturing
Our adhesive-coated fabrics are manufactured in Germany. Controlled production processes, consistent material quality, and high production capacity form the foundation for reproducible results. Our many years of experience in the manufacture of thermoplastic adhesives ensure that even demanding applications can be reliably executed.
Because we are part of Spunfab, our development operations are globally networked, while manufacturing and sales for Europe remain entirely under the umbrella of AB-Tec.
