Hot-melt adhesives in a roll-form

strip

Our TecWeb® is a dry, thermoplastic adhesive supplied on a roll. The custom formulation and unique properties of the material make the adhesive web the ideal adhesive for a wide range of applications.
Unlike liquid adhesives, powders, or films, an adhesive web enables a clean, controlled, and reproducible bond. It is used wherever there are high demands on process reliability, material compatibility, and consistent quality.

In addition to pressure and time, heat is needed to activate the adhesive.

TecWeb® can be used to create two- or multi-layer composites—or to treat both sides of a surface in such a way that the adhesive can later be reactivated by heat at a different production site and bonded to another substrate.

How it works.

How does our thermoplastic adhesive web work?

strip

The adhesive web is activated by heat during the processing stage. As this happens, the thermoplastic material melts, spreads evenly between the materials to be bonded, and permanently joins them together. After cooling, the adhesive solidifies, forming a strong, durable bond. The process is repeatable and can be precisely integrated into industrial production lines.

Development, prototyping, and production approval

Solution-oriented from the initial requirement to the adhesive solution

strip

The selection of an adhesive solution begins with the customer’s requirements. Based on these requirements, the appropriate adhesive web is designed, prototyped, and optimized. Once approved, mass production begins. The entire process is designed to foster a long-term partnership.

The items require approximately 48 hours to reach their final peel strength after lamination. Washing tests and cleaning should therefore be performed after 48 hours. The fabric may exhibit weld lines, cloudiness, or streaking, which are inherent to the manufacturing process. Weld lines are marked.

The purchaser must verify before use whether this material is suitable for their specific applications. Liability applies only to the adhesive supplied, not to products that have already been laminated.
